Ondulations

Borne out of a convergence of ideas, Ondulations is a new take on Bordeaux wines with a bold, contemporary, velvety profile. Aging in jars and amphora reveals the fruit in its purest form. Antoine de Oliveira, property manager since the 2010 vintage, and Julien Belle, associate member of the Oenoteam winemaking consultancy, have shaken off traditional codes to create a wine with a silky touch.

Château Hourtou

With slightly cooler temperatures than those enjoyed by its neighbour Château du Bousquet, Château Hourtou produces bold, fruit-forward wines. A measured approach to barrel-aging gives free rein to the wine's complex palate of red fruit aromas. On the nose, notes of cooked fruit are joined by aromas of grilled strawberry and cherry pit. The attack is well-balanced, developing a solid structure with moderate tannins. Fruit, spice and vanilla define the wine's profile.
