is located between the Loire communes of Mouzillon and Vallet, in the heart of the Muscadet Sèvre et Maine appellation.

Château de la Botinière

Château de la Botinière is a fruity, aromatic and easy-to-drink Muscadet. The property’s deep clay soils contribute to the wine’s compact structure and characteristic notes of orange peel. The gneiss-heavy plots are equally important. Its colour is pale yellow with flashes of green. The nose is classic Muscadet, complex with notes of fruit, and a touch of liquorice. On the palate, Château de la Botinière offers good body and delicate balance.

" Château de la Botinière was one of the first family estates to receive the Terra Vitis certification. As a result of its more environmentally responsible techniques, we have been able to reveal the property’s potential. I would never have thought it possible to make such fine wines on such a challenging terroir. "
