The best Asian sommeliers taste the Castel Family Estates

For many years, Castel Châteaux & Grands Crus has been actively engaged alongside professionals in sommellerie and gastronomy, both in France and around the world.

In 2023, we partnered with the Best Sommelier in French Wines Asia competition, with local finals held in China, Vietnam, Singapore, South Korea, and Taiwan. The winners of these local competitions competed in the Grand Final on November 30, 2023, in Singapore.

This prestigious competition, organized by the Sopexa agency in collaboration with the French Ministry of Agriculture, aims to showcase the richness of French gastronomy and its wines while highlighting the excellent work done by sommeliers from across Asia.

On this occasion, the finalists of the competition agreed to taste and comment on video the wines from Castel's family properties.
